DODA, JULY 17: The 6th day of the second phase of the Inter-Zonal District Level Tournament witnessed high-octane action at Government Degree College Grounds and City Middle School Grounds Doda.
The ongoing tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Doda to promote athletic excellence and team spirit among school children.
The day featured intense competitions in Kho-Kho and Volleyball, drawing participation from over 240 enthusiastic students and players representing 10 different zones of District Doda.
In the Under-14 Girls Kho-Kho final, an exciting match unfolded between Zone Gundna and Zone Thathri. With swift reflexes and coordinated teamwork, Zone Gundna triumphed over Thathri by a margin of 7 points.
In the Under-14 Boys Volleyball final, teams from Zone Bhallessa and Zone Bhagwah battled it out in a gripping contest. Both teams demonstrated excellent form, but Zone Bhallessa emerged victorious with a 2-1 set win, thanks to their strategic game play and resilience.
The matches were marked by spirited competition, commendable discipline and enthusiastic support from fellow participants and spectators.
