 Affectionate farewell accorded to Director Agriculture Jammu S. Arvinder Singh Reen

JAMMU, JULY 31: The officers and staff of the Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department, Jammu, bid a warm and affectionate farewell to S. Arvinder Singh Reen, Director Agriculture Jammu, who superannuated today after rendering over 39 years of dedicated service to the department.

A heartfelt farewell function was organized at the Directorate of Agriculture Jammu to honour S. A.S Reen for his remarkable contribution to the department and the farming community.

Joint Directors, Chief Agriculture Officers of Jammu Division, sectoral heads, senior officers and staff extended best wishes to the retiring officer. Director Agriculture Kashmir Jenab Sartaj Ahmad Shah and Staff of Directorate of Kashmir attended the farewell function through video conferencing.

Additional Mission Director HADP/Joint Director Extension Satish Sharma lauded his exemplary service, professionalism, and unwavering commitment towards agricultural development and farmer welfare.

Speaking on the occasion Satish Sharma said that one of his most notable achievements includes the rapid implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP). S. A.S Reen led the charge in the implementation of HADP and various Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), ensuring structured development and capacity-building of the farming community and reflecting his commitment to fast-track development and ensure timely execution of critical agricultural schemes.

Joint Director (Inputs) Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma said that a highly accomplished and visionary officer, S. Arvinder Singh Reen has made unparalleled contributions across various domains of agriculture, leaving a lasting legacy that will continue to shape the sector for years to come.

Senior officers from Agriculture Production Department, Director Agriculture Kashmir and officers from other districts also conveyed their warm wishes and heartfelt appreciation to S. A.S Reen.
