DDC Reasi reviews progress of Developmental Works

REASI, NOVEMBER 17: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and District Sector schemes being implemented by the Rural Development Department (RDD) in the district.

The DDC conducted a detailed evaluation of the physical and financial achievements under key schemes and sought department-wise feedback on the status of ongoing works. She emphasized the need for the timely completion of the developmental projects and directed the officers to ensure 100% saturation of all beneficiary-oriented schemes.

The DDC instructed field functionaries to intensify monitoring, maintain transparency, and strictly adhere to timelines for works being executed under MGNREGA, PMAY-G, SBM-G and other flagship initiatives. She highlighted that effective coordination among departments is essential to expedite project completion and enhance service delivery at the grassroots level.

The DDC also directed the concerned officers to identify suitable land for establishing the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP) and DEWATS system to enable the formulation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR).

The meeting was attended by ACD Vijay Kumar, BDOs and other concerned officers of the Rural Development Department were present in the meeting.
