DC facilitates Taekwondo Champions, praises coaches, players for bringing laurels to Udhampur District

UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 06: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today felicitated two young Taekwondo champions and extended congratulations to their coaches and the entire supporting team for their remarkable achievement at the national level.

Displaying exceptional skill and determination, Shivansh Rajput (U-19 Boys, 45 kg) and Mohit Anthal (U-19 Boys, 55 kg) clinched gold medals at the 69th National School Games 2025 Taekwondo held in Jammu.

Their victory has brought immense pride to the district and has further strengthened Udhampur’s reputation in the field of sports, particularly Taekwondo.

The DC lauded the dedicated efforts of the District Udhampur Taekwondo Association, Sidharth, Taekwondo Academy and the Department of Youth Services and Sports, acknowledging their pivotal role in promoting and nurturing young sporting talent across the region. She added that the achievement of Shivansh Rajput and Mohit Anthal stands as an inspiration for budding athletes across the district.

Special appreciation was extended to Master Atul Pangotra for his exceptional training, constant motivation and tireless commitment toward shaping these young champions.
