GOOL, DECEMBER 30: To strengthen citizen-centric governance and ensure effective delivery of public services at the grassroots level, a public grievance redressal camp was today held at Village Ashmar in Block Sangaldan.
The camp provided an effective platform to the residents to directly raise their grievances before the administration and seek on the spot redressal.
The camp was attended by Tehsildar Harjeet Singh, Naib Tehsildar Shabir Ahmad besides officers and officials from the line departments. The officials interacted with the public and listened to their concerns. Several grievances related to essential services were resolved on the spot, while others were noted for prompt follow-up.
The Tehsildar instructed concerned officials to keep applicants informed about the status and progress of their cases to maintain transparency and public trust.
The presence of officers from Agriculture, Sericulture, Fisheries, Power Development Department (PDD), Health, ICDS, Public Works Department (PWD), Horticulture, Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Rural Development Department (RDD) and Education ensured swift clarification of issues and expedited decision-making, resulting in effective resolution of public grievances.
The residents of Ashmar and adjoining areas appreciated the initiative and expressed satisfaction over the prompt and responsive approach of the administration.
