DSEJ extends New Year greetings to teaching fraternity, students

JAMMU, DECEMBER 31: Director School Education Jammu Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary has extended his warm and heartfelt New Year greetings to the students of the Jammu Division, their parents and the entire teaching fraternity.

In his message, Dr. Chowdhary remarked that a New Year is not merely a change of date, but a quiet pause—an opportunity to look back with gratitude and step forward with renewed resolve. He noted that classrooms, corridors and playgrounds across the Jammu Division have witnessed a year of perseverance, learning and silent courage, carried collectively by students eager to grow, teachers steadfast in purpose and parents unwavering in faith.

Lauding the teaching fraternity, the Director described teachers as the unseen architects of the future—those who light lamps without counting the cost of their own oil. He acknowledged parents as equal partners in education, whose sacrifices and trust give strength to every lesson taught and every dream pursued.

Addressing students, Dr. Chowdhary urged them to enter the New Year with discipline in effort, humility in success and honesty in ambition, reminding them that education is not a race for marks alone, but a lifelong journey toward wisdom, character and responsibility.

Reaffirming the commitment of the School Education Department, the Director stated that the coming year would continue to focus on strengthening academic standards, nurturing inclusive and safe learning spaces and ensuring that no child is left behind in the pursuit of knowledge.
