HANDWARA, JANUARY 13: Additional Deputy Commissioner, (ADC), Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi today convened a meeting of all concerned officers at ADC Office chamber Handwara to review the arrangements put in place for Shab-e-Meraj.
During the meeting, the ADC instructed all the officers to ensure adequate arrangements at major mosques and prominent locations in the sub division Handwara. He emphasized the importance of making all necessary arrangements for essential services to facilitate the general public, particularly devotees visiting the mosques.
The ADC directed the concerned officers to ensure sanitation at mosque, availability of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, efficient transportation for devotees, security measures and other necessary amenities.
He also instructed Tehsildars of the sub division and other officials to make detailed arrangements in their respective Tehsils besides, instructing them to conduct personal visits to prominent places. Concerned were also instructed to intensify market checking to keep a check on rates in the market.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildars of Langate, Qalamabad, Villgam and Tarathpora as well as officers and officials from other concerned departments.
