BANDIPORA, MARCH 28: An awareness-cum-distribution programme under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative was today organised by SANKALP – Hub for Empowerment of Women, Bandipora, in Hajin Zone.
The programme aimed to promote the importance of education and empowerment of the girl child, while also creating awareness about various government schemes meant for their welfare. Students were sensitised about the significance of education, protection, and equal opportunities for girls.
During the session, detailed information regarding different schemes for the girl child was shared with participants, encouraging them to avail the benefits and pursue their academic goals with confidence.
On the occasion, stationery kits were distributed among girl students to support their educational needs. The initiative sought to motivate students to continue their studies and facilitate access to essential learning resources.
