Farmers’ awareness camps held across 4 vibrant villages of Samba

SAMBA, APRIL 02: Agriculture & allied departments on Thursday organized Awareness camps across 4 vibrant villages of Channi Fatwal, Rangoor, Samadhu and Barota of Block Ramgarh- under Vibrant Village Programme -II.

Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Rakesh Khajuria along with staff of Zone Ramgarh, officers and officials from allied departments including Chief Horticulture Officer, District Sheep husbandry Officer, District Sericulture Officer,

District Officer of Fisheries department and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Samba coordinated the camps.
During the programme, local farmers were sensitized to different HADP initiatives, besides central government and UT CAPEX schemes.

Several eligible farmers were registered on the spot for benefits under HADP. About 1000 high quality vegetable seedlings of Tomato, Chilly, Brinjal, Cucurbits were distributed among the participating farmers under MIDH.
