REASI, APRIL 23: District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek chaired a meeting today to review the implementation status of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district. He conducted a comprehensive review of the progress achieved under various components of the programme and assessed its implementation across different sectors.
Emphasizing timely execution, the DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure effective ground-level implementation so that the intended benefits reach farmers without delay.
Detailed discussions were held on the physical and financial progress, targets achieved and the challenges being faced in the execution of the programme. The DDC stressed the need for close monitoring and better coordination among departments to overcome bottlenecks and ensure smooth implementation of HADP across the district.
Reviewing farmers’ coverage, the DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure 100 percent registration to benefit all eligible beneficiaries. He also reviewed the status of registered licenses for seeds, fertilizers and pesticides in the district and instructed the concerned departments to ensure proper regulation and availability of quality inputs to farmers. Furthermore, he directed the concerned department to ensure proper scrutiny of the newly established District Level Committee infrastructure and related assets.
The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar, officers from Sheep Husbandry and allied departments.
