POONCH, MAY 21: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting of the District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee in his office chamber to review the SRO-43 cases of next of Kin of civilians and belt force personnel killed in the militancy related incidents.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Muhammad Sayeed; DySP Hqr. Neeraj Sharma, representatives from BSF Khanetar, Rep. of Hq. 93 Inf. Bgd., 10. Inf. Bgd., 6-Sector RR and other concerned officers.
The ADC gave a detailed briefing on the current status of each case. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for timely disposal of the same, noting that the affected families have high hopes from the government.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the concerned departments to adopt a proactive approach and ensure that all necessary formalities and verifications are completed well in time for SRO-43 cases.
