RAJOURI, JULY 31: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today interacted with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team at the DC Office and reviewed its activities during the recent flood situation in the district, lauding the team for its service.
The Deputy Commissioner took a review of the rescue and relief operations carried out by the team and commended the personnel for their swift response, professionalism and commitment under challenging conditions. Their timely, coordinated action played a crucial role in ensuring public safety and minimising the impact of the floods.
The DC appreciated the courage and humanitarian spirit shown by the team while assisting affected families in vulnerable areas. He acknowledged the coordinated efforts of all line departments, Police, Civil Defence, the Health Department, Fire and Emergency Services and local volunteers in extending full support during the emergency.
The Deputy Commissioner said the district administration remains committed to the safety of the people and will continue to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response. He urged citizens to remain vigilant during the monsoon, follow official advisories and cooperate with emergency response teams whenever required.
