Jammu: In order to take a detailed review of prevailing security situation and also ensure more strengthened security coordination, the Army on Friday organised a security coordination and review meeting at Nagrota based headquarters of White Knight Corps.
General Officer in Commanding, White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh chaired this meeting with Additional Director General of Police in Jammu zone, Mukesh Singh and representatives and officers of CRPF, other security forces and intelligence agencies were present in the meet.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Army said that this meeting was called over Shri Amarnath Yatra and for coordination of security aspects for the yatra.
Officials said that threadbare discussion was held on range of issues related to Yatra and to have a foolproof security mechanism for yatra—(KNO)
