All he wanted was peace and unending progress, in the achievement of which, he did his part and was again doing everything to make further progress in that direction. But while he was on it, in a different phase of his life, what came around and killed him is still unknown.
Terror has struck again and this time in Japan—much to the shock and surprise of people around the world—where the former Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe was shot at during a campaign rally. The bullet pierced through his heart, silencing a progressive, liberal person who was the country’s longest-serving Prime Minister. Silenced with an unknown bullet; made to bleed till death. Nobody knows why!

What is surprising in the incident is that the world has hardly seen or heard such news coming out of Japan, let alone the public assassination of its former Prime Minister which not only is hard to believe but compels one to ponder over the penetration of the terror—which has made it a point to eliminate people who want to make this world a better place—across the globe.

Abe served as the Prime Minister of Japan first from 2006 to 2007; he was back in 2012 and then continued until 2020—which was the longest ever term of any PM in Japan. He retained power due to his policies which took Japan to new and unimaginable heights. No matter that post-COVID, the Japanese economy stumbled, but Abe had made sure that even if the country’s economy falls, it does not crash hard on the ground.

The former Prime Minister who had studied politics at Tokyo’s Seiki University and the University of Southern California—will be remembered for ushering in a new phase in Japan’s defense sector while making all the efforts to strengthen the ties with Washington. All he wanted was peace and unending progress, in the achievement of which, he did his part and was again doing everything to make further progress in that direction. But while he was on it, in a different phase of his life, what came around and killed him is still unknown. What, however, is known, is that terror has struck a peace-loving, lovely and lively country on the globe—snatching from them one of their finest persons, who strived for the betterment of his people, leaving behind a void, hard to be filled.
