Kupwara: An elderly man died in a road mishap at Bramri along Kupwara-Srinagar highway here.
Reports reaching GNS said that a person was hit by a speeding Santro car bearing registration number JK01B 7043. The individual, as per reports, was returning after his appointment with a doctor at ‘Quality Health Care’ hospital.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS that the car driver involved in the mishap has been arrested and a case registered for investigations.
The official in the meantime identified the deceased as Ghulam Mohammad Gojar, son of Saif-ud-Din Gojar of Jugtiyal Haihama. (GNS)
