The mother of the Prime Minister has always been talked about highly for giving birth to a person who is now leading the country, taking it to new heights, at the same time, she has been subjected to derogatory comments by the political rivals of the PM, however, this time, what Italia has done, talks about more of his mental degradation as well as the lack of values in the party which he belongs to. Every religion talks of respecting a mother who makes the propagation of mankind possible. If there wasn’t a mother, this world wouldn’t have existed, nor would Italia whose comments have hurt every individual in this nation, especially the mothers as well as the temple-going women.
While a mother lies way up in the hierarchy, the same has been talked about in every religion including Islam. In the Quran, Almighty Allah states: “We have commanded people to be good to their parents: their mothers carried them, with strain upon strain, and it takes two years to wean them. Give thanks to Me and to your parents — all will return to Me” (31:14). Similar guidelines have come in the sayings (Hadith) of the Prophet (PBUB) who also highlighted the importance of parents, especially the mother. It is narrated by Asma bint Abu Bakr that: “during the treaty of Hudaibiyah, her mother, who was then pagan came to see her from Makah. Asma informed the Messenger of Allah Prophet (PBUH) of her arrival and also that she needed help. He (PBUB) said: Be good to your mother.” (Muslim)
Concerning what Italia has stated about the temples, the same is an insult to the entire nation because it is a direct attack on the rich, centuries-old religion that talks of human upliftment, believes in taking everyone along, and more importantly, teaches to love the humanity by going beyond caste, creed, religion or sex. There is a need for acting decently and that’s what the politicians now need to do, for God’s sake because no one’s mother is out there to hear your absurdities, no matter who you are; or how powerful you are. No matter which party you come from —you just cannot utter derogatory comments against anyone’s mother. There has to be a certain line that needs to be respected by one and all; in the meantime, AAP needs to speak up, it just cannot let loose abusers of Italia’s likes.
