'Prima facie cause of death seems to be epileptic shock'

Srinagar: A 24-year-old youth was found dead at Rambagh area of Srinagar on Saturday morning.

Police in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the body was identified as Mohd Suleman Wani, son of Arshad Ahmad Wani.

As confirmed by his parents, the deceased was a patient of epilepsy and was under treatment, police said.

“As mandated under law the body was taken for post mortem analysis and inquest proceedings under section 174 of CrPC have been started by sadar PS,” police said.

The statement added that prima facie the cause of death seems to be epileptic shock—(KNO)
