Ganderbal, Aug 25: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Friday said that drugs is the biggest challenge and urged youth to help the government in eradicating the menace from the society.

While addressing a gathering during the 9th edition of Kashmir Mega Football tournament in Ganderbal, Bidhuri said that drugs is the biggest challenge before the government at present.

“I want the youth to come forward and help the government in eradicating drug menace from the society the way peace has been established in Jammu & Kashmir,” he said.

He asked the gathering to help in informing the administration about the persons involved in drug related activities. “The drugs completely ruin the life of an individual,” he said.

Furthermore, he asked the youth to continue to take part in the sports activities and live happily with their families.

Pertinently, Voice for Peace and Justice kicked-off the 9th Edition of Kashmir Mega Football tournament, which was participated by 32 top teams of Kashmir.

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest, while as Secretary Sports Council Kashmir Nuzhat Gul was Guest of Honour.KNO
