HKM GDC Bandipora organises Induction Programme for freshers, farewell to outgoing students

Bandipora, October 06: The Hassan Khoyihami Memorial (HKM) Government Degree College (GDC) Bandipora Friday organised an Induction Programme for the students of First Semester.

The programme was organised to welcome and familiarize the students about the facilities, support services and resources available at the campus.

Pricipal HKM GDC Bandipora Dr Masood Ahmad Malik said that the programme was organised with the aim to acquaint the students about the academic policies of the institution and thereby prepare them for the academic challenges of the program.

The students participated in the program with great enthusiasm. The programme, held in the Girls’ Park of the College, was inaugurated by the Dr. Masood Ahmad Malik, Principal of the College.

In his speech, the pricipal welcomed the students to the institution. He also assured them of every support that they may need during the course of their program.

Coordinators of various departments and committees briefed the new entrants about their departments and committees.

The students were also given opportunity to share their ideas. They were enthusiastic and expressed their appreciation for the organisation of such programme.

Meanwhile, a farewell function was also organised by the 5th semester students of the College in honour of outgoing 6th semester students. On the occasion, Dr Masood Ahmad and other staff members wished best of luck to the outgoing students and prayed for their bright future.
