Srinagar October10: An encounter has broken out between forces and militants in Alshipora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Taking to microblogging site X (formerly X), the Kashmir Zone Police (@Kashmir Police) wrote; #Encounter has started at Alshipora area of #Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job.”

It is believed that at least two militants are trapped in the area.(GNS)
