Bandipora, October 26: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad, along with SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma, Friday flagged of ‘Run for Unity’ from NHPC Bandipora to S.K Stadium Bandipora.
The event was organised by Police Department, Bandipora. As many as 700 participants from all age groups participated in the run. Among others, ASP Bandipora Sandeep Bhat, DySP DAR Bandipora, officers of CRPF besides a large number of soldiers, local youth, others participated in the event.
On the occasion, DC Bandipora in his address to the participants appreciated the enthusiasm shown by every participant,who were part of the Run for Unity,and in displaying their commitment, spirit to complete the run showcasing love and respect towards the Nation.
SSP Bandipora, while addressing the participants, said that ‘run for unity’ marks patriotism living in the hearts of people of Bandipora.
