Srinagar, Dec 13: The dilapidated condition of Khanyar Chowk has become a pressing concern for the residents, leading to severe traffic congestion during peak hours.
The road which has been dug up and is marked with potholes is causing inconvenience to commuters.
“The worn-out roads and lack of maintenance have contributed to frequent snarls, transforming the once-accessible intersection into a nightmare for motorists,” locals from the area told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Muneer Ahmad, a local said “navigating through Khanyar Chowk has become a daily ordeal. The condition of the roads is appalling, making it extremely challenging to commute, especially during rush hours, and immediate attention is needed to alleviate this situation”—(KNO)
