Attended by various sectoral officers and representatives from religious bodies, including the J&K Dharmarth Trust and prominent temples, the meeting covered crucial aspects of the festival’s arrangements.

Discussions focused on the festive procession, Shobha Yatra, slated to traverse the city’s heart a day before the festival. Coordination with police and Jammu Municipal Corporation officials was emphasised to ensure a smooth and secure event. The festivities in major temples like Ranbireshwar Temple, Peer Kho Temple and Har Ki Pouri were also deliberated upon.

To address basic amenities, the meeting detailed the provision of drinking water supply and tanker facilities, overseen by the Jal Shakti and JMC. The Power Development Department committed to guaranteeing uninterrupted power supply and street lighting at prominent venues, while cleanliness in the city was entrusted to the JMC.
