Webinar on Changing Dynamics in Health, Education Sectors held at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 29: In an insightful event, a pivotal webinar shedding light on the evolving landscape of the health and education sectors in India was held here today.

The webinar was attended by DY. CMO, Dr. Balbir Singh, staff of the health department, education department, and other departments besides the students. Many others joined through the virtual mode.

The webinar delved into critical discussions aimed at understanding the dynamic shifts impacting these vital sectors.

Led by Dr. Amirullah Khan, a 1993 Batch IAS Officer, joined virtually as the Guest speaker. Dr.Amirullah is among the top economists of the country and has served as senior advisor and strategic head at Bill & Gates foundation.  He has also worked with World Bank, IMF, USAID, Planning commission and its new Avtar Niti Ayog on education and health related issues.

The guest speaker shared valuable insights on the importance of proper nutrition, enrollment of students in education (especially in the 6-14 age group), and other related important aspects in detail.

A special Question & Answers session was also conducted after the webinar in which many listeners like Dr. Arif, Isha Atri (Student 3rd Sem), Dr. Wajid Kelam, Tanveer Ahmed Zargar, Rashid Doolwal , Ziama Khawaja , Abroo Wajid , Nitin Tiwari and others put up their questions before the guest and got their answers appropriately.

The event aimed to foster dialogue and explore innovative solutions to address emerging challenges.

The session ended with a vote of thanks by Patron of Lyceum Study Group Arif Mir.
