RAJOURI, MARCH 14: SVEEP Cell of District Rajouri today organized a workshop for NCC Cadets of Government Degree College Rajouri as a part of SVEEP activities. The initiative was taken under the guidance and supervision of District Election Officer Rajouri Om Parkash Bhagat and Principal of the college Prof. (Dr). Shamim Ahmed Azad.
Nodal Officer SVEEP Prof Mohd Iqbal Raina educated the Cadets of SD boys and SD girls unit regarding the importance of voting rights and participation in upcoming elections.
The Cadets of NCC wings were designated as Ambassadors to promote the voting percentage among young voters. They will help voters to check their names in the voters list, and take initiatives to add their names or insert correction in it and also motivate voters to exercise their franchise compulsorily.
Major Tanwir Ahmed Choudhary Associate NCC Officer for boy’s wing and Prof Salma Farooq Associate NCC Officer for girl’s wing were also present.
