UDHAMPUR, MARCH 30: An awareness programme under SVEEP was today conducted at Government High School Moud here on the directions of Deputy District Election Officer, Udhampur, Dr. Anirudh Rai.
During the programme, a series of cultural activities featuring Nukkad Nataks, Dogri songs, dance, speech etc, were performed by the students of GPS Moud, GMS Yug and GHS Moud under the guidance of staff members.
Speaking about the ongoing SVEEP activities, Dr. Anirudh Rai (DDEO) urged the young voters to inspire their families, friends, relatives and neighbours for participating in upcoming Lok Sabha elections with enthusiasm.
Dr. Preeti Sharma (District Panchayat Election Officer) exhorted the young voters to act as ambassadors of democracy. The programme was attended by Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, BLOs of part no. 61-75, 61-76 and local residents of panchayat Moud.
