KATHUA, APRIL 02: The second randomization of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was held today here under the supervision of District Election Officer Kathua, Dr. Rakesh Minhas.
The crucial procedure, overseen by General Observer, Dheeraj Kumar and Election Nodal officers of the district, besides representatives of political parties adhered to ECI guidelines to maintain transparency and fairness.
The second randomization process involved the reassignment of EVMs to the polling stations across all six assembly segments of Kathua district.
The District Election Officer Kathua while giving details said the second randomization is in line with ECI’s resolve for adopting fairness and transparency in the electoral process.
