Lok Sabha Elections 2024: DEO Bandipora flags off Poll parties for 16-Gurez assembly Segment

BANDIPORA, MAY 17: The District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Friday flagged-off polling parties for 16-Gurez Assembly Segment which is part of 1-Baramulla PC and going for polls on 20th May, 2024.

The polling parties, comprising POs, P1, P2, P3, P4, Micro observers and police personel were dispatched to assembly segment 16- Gurez to facilitate fair and transparent voting procedures, guaranteeing every eligible citizen the opportunity to exercise their democratic right.

A total of 31 poll parties were dispatched for the Gurez assembly segment besides 30 micro observers and 35 persons as reserve staff.

DEO emphasized the importance of conducting free, fair and peaceful elections and said that all requisite arrangements are in place for the polling parties besides welfare measures are also taken care of.
He said the administration has implemented comprehensive measures to facilitate voter participation and also to ensure that no voter is left.

Dy DEO Mohammad Rafeeq, Nodal officer manpower management Dr. G. M Pujoo and other officers were also present on the occasion.
