During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on applications received seeking permission for construction and repair cases, including those for Army establishments in the Sonamarg area, as per the order issued by the Hon’ble High Court.

Various agenda points were deliberated, and decisions were made based on the merits of each case.
The committee, while reviewing the Army’s application for permission to construct establishments at Sonamarg, Nilgar, and Baltal, emphasized that construction should be confined to strategic areas. The Army was also directed to comply with current environmental and ecological regulations.
