BUDGAM, MAY 07: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today held deliberations on formulation of plan under the District Capex Budget 2024-25.
At the outset, the DDC reviewed the status of implementation of previous year’s plan and took feedback from various executing agencies on the priority sectors and works that need to be taken up during FY 2024-25.
The DDC directed executing agencies under key sectors like R&B, PHE, PDD, RDD, Education, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture and other allied sectors to work in coordination to formulate district plan that is to be executed in a time bound manner to contribute in the holistic development of the district.
He also emphasized on keeping in place advance mechanisms that allow timely tendering and work execution of the duly approved works under the plan.
The meeting among others was attended by CPO, ACD, CMO, CEO, ACP, all Executive Engineers of Engineering wings, all BDOs and other district heads of concerned departments.
