RAMBAN, JUNE 11: A Workshop cum Orientation Program on the New Educational Policy (NEP) 2020 was organized today at Government Degree College, Ramban under the leadership of the College Principal, Prof. Archana Koul.
The workshop was attended by the Principals of all nine Government Higher Secondary Schools of the district, along with two faculty members from each school. The event aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of the New Educational Policy 2020, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), the admission process, and curriculum selection under the NEP.
Prominent resource persons, Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Dr. Romesh Chander, Dr. Ramprakash and Prof. Satish, delivered comprehensive sessions on these critical topics. The workshop’s proceedings were expertly moderated by Dr. Vishal Bloria.
Prof Archana Koul, the chief guest emphasized the importance of such workshops, stating that more such workshops will be organized in both colleges and schools. She highlighted the crucial role of schools in preparing students who are well-informed about the NEP, thereby enabling them to make informed career choices.
Later, each participant was presented with a pine tree sapling and a Participation Certificate as a token of appreciation for their involvement and commitment to advancing educational practices in line with the NEP 2020.
