AD Employment Ramban urges CSC to ensure efficient delivery of E services of Labour & Employment Dept

RAMBAN, JULY 15: On the direction of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and Labour Commissioner J&K, Charandeep Singh, a meeting with District Manager CSC, Nawaz Shrief and VLEs was held today under the chairmanship of Assistant Director Employment Ramban, Amit Kumar.

Threadbare discussion was held on delivery of Government e-services being provided by the Labour and Employment Department at District Level.

The CSC District Manager was apprised about the 22 e-services being provided by the labour Department and 6 online services by JKBOCWWB which includes the Registration and renewal of Construction Workers, Education Assistance, death and funeral assistance, Chronic Disease assistance, disability assistance Marriage assistance assistance to workers and their kids and Maternity assistance to the female workers.

The Manager was requested to provide a hassle free environment to the worker class who are the most vulnerable less educated class of the society. They were told to check their documents well before uploading on the Portal to avoid unnecessary delay in processing of their applications at office level.

Besides this, the CSC District Manger was also told to direct their VLEs to ensure the Presence of at least 2 VLEs at ongoing Block level Awareness camps to be organized by the DE&CC in collaboration with Labour Department Ramban.
