SRINAGAR, AUGUST 05: As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada initiative of the government, Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar, today organized a pledge ceremony.
The pledge ceremony witnessed participation from the staff, along with a substantial turnout of NSS volunteers. Prof. Mohammad Zubair Ud Din, the NSS Programme Officer at the college, administered the pledge.
Following the pledge ceremony, the Principal, Prof. Aijaz Ahmad Hakak, initiated a campus-wide cleanliness drive.
This practical application of the pledge saw enthusiastic participation from both NSS volunteers and staff members. The drive not only helped to clean the college premises but also served as a visible demonstration of the institution’s dedication to maintaining a hygienic and pleasant learning environment.
