Assembly Elections- 2024 Players take SVEEP pledge as DLIZ Under-19 Kho-Kho tournament concludes at GHSS Berarru

DODA AUGUST 23: The Youth services and Sports Department organised the Inter-Zonal under-19 Kho-Kho tournament of District Doda in the playground of Govt. HSS Berarru, Bhalla.

On the first day, girls from all the ten educational zones took part in the competition. The main purpose of this sports event was to make selection for the District Team besides inculcating discipline among students and building a strong generation.

Girls from Zone Bhalla were declared overall winners while Zone Bhagwah stood runners up.
Earlier Principal of GHSS Berarru, in his inaugural speech, congratulated all the players for being selected at zonal level. He asked them to display sportsmanship and accept victory humbly and defeat boldly. He wished the best of luck to all the sports girls. He thanked the District Youth Services and Sports Department for organizing a District level competition in his school grounds.

Principal, Anjeel Thakur asked the participants to be SVEEP ambassadors of their respective areas and educate masses for maximum participation in the electoral process without any fear and inducement. SVEEP pledge was also taken by the players, escort teachers and other staff before the beginning of the tournament.
