BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 19: The second randomization of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was successfully conducted today across all three Assembly constituencies of Bandipora District.
In AC, Returning Officer (RO), Shabir Ahmad Wani led the randomization process at mini Secretariat under the supervision of General Observer Nelson Eyon Bage, and in presence of representatives from various political parties and contesting candidates.
In Gurez AC, RO Mukhtar Ahmad conducted the randomization process at Dak Banglow Gurez, under the supervision of General Observer for Gurez AC Ramnivas Yadav and in presence of representatives of political parties and contesting candidates.
Likewise at Sumbal, Returning Officer, Murtaza Ahmad Sheikh carried out the randomization process at Dak Banglow Sumbal, with political party representatives and candidates in attendance.
Before the randomization, participants were briefed on the randomization procedure to ensure transparency and clarity about the methods used.
The entire randomization process was videographed in accordance with ECI guidelines, and the list of randomized Control Units (CUs), Ballot Units (BUs), and VVPATs was handed over to the representatives present.
