BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 24: KVK Bandipora in collaboration with Department of Horticulture Department Bandipora today organized a comprehensive training programme on ‘Best Agricultural Practices in Apple Cultivation.’
The programme witnessed participation of farmers from Sumbal and Hajin blocks of the district.
During the programme experts from KVK Bandipora highlighted Kendra’s initiatives aimed at improving the agricultural and horticultural landscape in Bandipora and emphasized the importance of adopting modern cultivation techniques to enhance apple productivity and quality, thus contributing to the economic upliftment of the farmers.
Speaking on the occasion, various Scientist of KVK Bandipora, delivered presentations on the latest best practices in apple cultivation aimed at improving apple yield and maintaining the high-quality standards besides an interactive session was also held to address queries and provide practical insights into soil health management and fertilization techniques.
The training programme concluded with an interactive session, where the participants shared their experiences and concerns related to apple cultivation. The experts from KVK Bandipora and the Department of Horticulture assured them of continued technical support and guidance for enhancing orchard productivity.
