SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 25: Secretary, Advisory Board for development of Pahari Speaking People, Sapna Kotwal, today called on Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, here at Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
The Secretary presented information voucher on Pahari Hostels and briefed the Minister about functioning of the Board. She also raised several issues being confronted by the board in its smooth working.
Rana enquired about the welfare measures being taken for the students by the Board. He exhorted upon the Secretary to step up efforts towards further streamlining the functioning of the Board.
The Minister laid emphasis on improving the functioning of Pahari Hostels with special focus on proper facilities for girl-students.
