POONCH, NOVEMBER 27: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal today convened a public outreach program to address the grievances and demands of local residents at Block Loran.
The outreach event attracted participation from different parts of the Loran block, where community members voiced their concerns and sought solutions to pressing issues.
Line Department Officers, including district and sector officers were present at the venue to address grievances and ensure last mile connectivity.
The locals from the concerned block and adjacent Panchayats projected their issues and demands before the Deputy Commissioner. Residents highlighted numerous issues affecting their daily lives. They sought augmentation of water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission, Road projects in unconnected areas, upgrading of education, healthcare, agriculture, power, PMAY left out cases, ration supply and other critical infrastructure.
Responding to the demands, the Deputy Commissioner assured the attendees that all matters raised would be prioritized and addressed promptly. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholder departments, urging them to adopt a proactive and people-friendly approach in delivering public services.
The event underscored the administration’s commitment to listening to the community and enhancing the quality of life for residents in Loran.
