BHADERWAH, DECEMBER 05: A blood donation camp was organized today at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) by the District Health Society in collaboration with the local HDFC Bank branch.
The camp was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the presence of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bhaderwah, Dr. Mohd Ashraf, HDFC Bank Manager Nisar Ahmed Butt and the staff of the Hospital.
A total of 11 points of blood were donated at the camp, reflecting the community’s commitment to saving lives and promoting health initiatives. The donors were appreciated for their noble contribution, which will help in addressing emergencies and saving precious lives.
Meanwhile, the CMO also conducted an inspection of SDH Bhaderwah. He reviewed the functioning of the hospital, checked records, and interacted with the hospital staff to ensure efficient healthcare delivery to the public. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in healthcare services and appreciated the efforts of the hospital staff in catering to the needs of the community.
The event was hailed as a success and a testament to the collaborative efforts of the health department, financial institutions, and local healthcare providers. It reinforced the importance of voluntary blood donation as a cornerstone of public health.
