RAMBAN, DECEMBER 18: The District Administration Ramban, held a meeting today to review the preparations for the “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign, scheduled to be conducted from December 19 to 24, 2024 under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, as part of Good Governance Week 2024.

The arrangements and activities for the same were finalized here at a meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Roshan Lal. The attendees included ACD Srinath Suman; CPO Shakeeb Ahmed Rather; ACP Ashfaq Ahmed; BDOs, Executive Engineers from PWD and PHE, CMO, CEO, and other district and sectoral officers.

The ADDC emphasized the importance of covering all parameters and targets through a block-level schedule for the campaign. A mega event under the initiative will be held on December 23, 2024, at Khari, showcasing developmental progress and governance initiatives.

The ADDC directed officers to highlight achievements and best practices through video presentations in sectors like Rural Development (RDD), Health, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), and others. The officers were also instructed to expedite project execution, meet financial targets, and adhere to timelines to ensure the timely delivery of benefits to the public.

Key discussions focused on ongoing developmental projects, including healthcare, educational infrastructure, road construction, accelerated JJM implementation, and enhancements in power infrastructure. The ADDC urged BDOs and other officers to closely monitor developmental projects; ensuring progress aligns with district goals.

The departments were directed to set up their stalls at identified locations as per schedule to be implemented in various blocks from December 19 to 24, 2024. They were asked to focus on spot redressal of public issues and grievances.

The “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign aims to reinforce the principles of good governance and improve service delivery at the grassroots level, reflecting the commitment of the District Administration to the overall development of Ramban.
