As part of the observance, a rally was organized to raise awareness about leprosy, focusing on its early detection and elimination of social stigma associated with the disease. The rally witnessed active participation from Senior and junior staff of District Hospital Ramban and students of Government ANM School Ramban.

On this occasion, the SPARSH Leprosy Awareness Campaign 2025 was also launched, which will continue from January 30 to February 13, 2025. The campaign aims to educate communities, promote early diagnosis, and ensure stigma-free treatment for leprosy patients.

Authorities urged the public to support the initiative by spreading awareness and ensuring timely medical intervention for those affected by leprosy.
