Srinagar, Feb 1, KNT: The family of a young man from Nowgam, Srinagar, whose dead body was found inside his vehicle at Digdol, Ramban, last month, staged a protest on Saturday, demanding a thorough investigation into his death. The protesters, carrying placards, gathered at Railway Colony, Nowgam, urging the authorities to probe the matter and deliver justice.

The deceased, Umar Yaseen, was a Railway Colony, Nowgam resident. His body was discovered under mysterious circumstances in his vehicle in the Digdol area of Ramban district. While the exact cause of death remains unknown, his family firmly believes that it was not a natural death but a case of murder.

Speaking to the news agency , the father of the deceased expressed deep anguish and called for a fair and transparent probe. “We do not suspect anyone in particular, but we strongly believe that our son did not die a natural death. We urge the police to investigate thoroughly and bring the truth to light,” he said.

The protestors held banners and placards seeking justice for Umar Yaseen, appealing to authorities to expedite the investigation. The bereaved family demanded that law enforcement agencies uncover the circumstances leading to his tragic death.
