RAJOURI, MARCH 26: To ensure road safety and compliance with traffic regulations, a team from the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Rajouri today conducted an intensive road-checking drive at Tandwal and Manjakote along the National Highway.

During the drive, around 100 vehicles were checked, and 29 were e-challaned for various violations of the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and the rules framed there under. The expected revenue from the e-challaned vehicles amounts to ₹71,000.

Additionally, the team recommended the suspension of two driving licenses for serious violations.
Assistant Transport Officer Rajesh Gupta emphasized that such enforcement drives will continue to ensure adherence to traffic laws and enhance road safety. He urged the vehicle owners and drivers to comply with regulations to avoid penalties and ensure a safer commuting experience for all.
