ADC Nowshera reviews status of public services delivery, arrangements for upcoming festivals

NOWSHERA, APRIL 04: Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa today chaired a meeting with officers of line departments in his office chamber to review the status of public services delivery in the sub-division.

During the interaction, the ADC emphasized the importance of dedicated and responsive governance. He urged officers to discharge their duties with commitment and adopt a proactive approach in addressing public grievances. He stressed that timely delivery of services must be prioritized so that the general public does not face any inconvenience.

Later in the day, the ADC visited the revered Mangla Devi Temple to take stock of the preparations underway for Durga Ashtami and Ramnavmi festivals. Accompanied by officers and members of the temple management committee, he conducted a detailed inspection of arrangements related to sanitation, security, water and power supply, fire safety, medical facilities, traffic and crowd management, and other essential services.

He also reviewed the arrangements made at Mangla Mata Temple and issued necessary directions for further improvement.

The ADC further directed the concerned officers to conduct market checking and inspection drives to curb overpricing and ensure the availability of quality essential commodities during the festive period.

Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Tehsildar , BDO, BMO, EO MC, TSO, and other sectoral officers attended the meeting and accompanied the ADC during the visit.
