PMAY (U) 2.0: Dist Admin B’pora conducts Training prog. for Master trainers, Enumerators, Supervisors

BANDIPORA, APRIL 22: District administration Bandipora on Tuesday conducted a training programme for Master trainers, Enumerators and Supervisors who have been assigned the task of carrying out the survey for houseless urban households under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, at Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.

During the programme, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl urged the participants to carry out this survey with sincerity and dedication, and stressed that only the deserving and eligible beneficiaries are selected under the scheme. “Reject ineligible applications, and follow all rules and guidelines carefully,” he added.

ADC commended the officials for their commitment and acknowledged the critical role that Supervisors and Enumerators play in ensuring transparency and accountability in the implementation process, besides instructing the field teams to maintain strict checks and balances, adhere to the timeline and work collaboratively to ensure the scheme’s benefits reach those in need.

On the occasion, Shawl encouraged the participants to carry out their duties with sincerity, dedication, and a strong sense of public service, contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic upliftment of the urban poor through the successful implementation of the scheme.

Among others, the event was attended by Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Bandipora, Ajaz Ahmad; Executive Officer Municipal Committee Sumbal and Hajin besides others concerned.
