DLSA Ganderbal holds meeting/ orientation, training session for SAATHI unit members

GANDERBAL, MAY 29: To discuss and finalize the implementation strategy for the SAATHI campaign, which focuses on identifying and rehabilitating destitute children in the district, a meeting-cum-orientation and training session for the SAATHI unit members of district Ganderbal was held today at Town Hall, Ganderbal.

The meeting was chaired by Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, (Chairperson SAATHI unit) Ganderbal, Sheikh Babar Hussain and attended by various stakeholders, including government officers, officials, and Child Welfare Committee members, etc.

Session focused on orienting committee members on their roles and responsibilities, training them on conducting surveys and identification processes for destitute children, and outlining next steps for the campaign’s successful execution.

Through this initiative, DLSA Ganderbal aims to identify and rehabilitate destitute children, ensuring their access to education, healthcare, and social welfare schemes.

SAATHI campaign is a significant step towards creating a protective and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in district Ganderbal.

Meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work together in ensuring the success of the SAATHI campaign and making a meaningful difference in the lives of destitute children.
