SRINAGAR, JUNE 17: Director FCS&CA Kashmir, Dr. Owais Ahmed chaired a review meeting today to evaluate the stock position of food grains/ Petroleum products, Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025 and overall functioning of the department.

Director emphasized that the Bonafide rationees get their monthly entitlement timely without any delay by way of ensuring timely completion of procurement process besides timely lifting of food grains and making the same available at the sale centres

“Timely execution is crucial for the implementation,” Dr. Owais remarked, while reviewing the progress of various developmental works being executed by the department. He underscored the importance of regular follow-ups and detailed progress reports to maintain accountability and transparency in the department.

The chair was also apprised about the status of Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025, and it was directed that both the Assistant Directors Ganderbal and Anantnag shall ensure installation of camps at all the stations in next 02 days.

Dr. Owais expressed confidence that with coordinated and focused efforts, the department can deliver timely services to the general public.

The meeting was attended by the Joint Director, Deputy Director (Adm), CAO FCS&CA and all the district officers of the province.
