SRINAGAR, JUNE 20: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out Branch Cutting / Pruning of trees alongside these 33 KV lines, shutdown of several 33KV lines shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at shall remain off while power supply to numerous areas will be affected.

In this connection, shutdown of 33KV Badampora-Kurhama Dab line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kurhama, Dab, GCET, Sainik School shall remain off while power supply to Kurhama, Youngpora, Barsoo Old, Dab, Checki Baba, Salun, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET Safapora will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21 June, 2025.

Also, the shutdown of 33KV HMT Shadipora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Shadipora, Singhpora, Kalsari, Mirgund shall remain off while power supply to Shadipora, Trigam, Mirgund, Sumbal, Ankul, Gund Boon and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21 & 24 June, 2025.

Besides, the shutdown of 33KV NehalporaMarkundal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Markundal, Naidkhai, Shahgund, Aglar shall remain off while power supply to Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, Ankul, GundBoon and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 23 June, 2025.

Further, shutdown of 33KV KanganSurfraw line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Surfraw, Gagangeer shall remain off while power supply to Gund, Kullan, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Fraw, Ganiwan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21 & 23 June, 2025.

Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV KanganKangan line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at PDC Kangan, Kangan shall remain off while power supply to Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Baba Nagri and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 24 & 26 June, 2025.

Further, the shutdown of 33KV KanganWussan line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Wussan shall remain off while power supply to Wussan, Preng, Manigam, Haripora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 24 & 26 June, 2025.

Meanwhile in a separate shutdown schedule issued by the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out Branch Erection of ST Pole 13 mtr long at village Kulbugh Kremshore, shutdown of 33KV Budgam Kremshore line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kremshore, Khansahib, Raithan and Brenwar shall remain off while power supply to Old Kremshore, Arigam, Nunner, Shamsabad, Dreygam, Arampora, Shinipora, Yaikhah essential, Khansahib, Raithan, Bugroo, Brenwar and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 21 June, 2025.

Also to carry out erection of ST Pole 13 mtr long at Sunnergund Site, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam Ichgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Ichgam, Choon, Kanir and Hanjura shall remain off while power supply to Barwah, Nowpora, Ichgam, Ichkoot, Choon, Budbagh, Razvain, Kanir, Hushur, Wagam, Zuhama, Hanjoora,Dadompora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 21 June, 2025.

Likewise to facilitate stabilization works, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam Waterhail line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Waterhail, Waterwani, Charangam and Filtration Plant shall remain off while power supply to Samsaan, Parthan, Waterhail, PHE Substation, Shelipora, Parisabad, Charangam, Banet, Punchgound and Utiligam, Lobertal and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 21 June, 2025.

Moreover to execute the work of stabilization of the said feeder from Aali Masjid STP Plan Ali Jan road in connection with providing of power supply to STP Plant Ali Jan road, shutdown of 33KV SH Pora line and 33 KV Kawadara Mughal Masjid line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at SH Pora, Shreen Bagh, MR Gunj, Kawadara & Mughal Masjid shall remain off while power supply to Jamalatta, Nawabazar, Zaina Kadal, Firdous Colony, Zaldagar, Nowhatta, Nawa Kadal, MR Gunj, Zadibal, Kaksaraii and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM on 24, 28 & 30 June, 2025.

Additionally to carry out stabilization of said line in view of coming SANJY 2025, shutdown of 33KV Qazigund Kund line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Chowgam, Kund and Qazigund shall remain off while power supply to Chowgam, Kund and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21 & 24 June, 2025.

Furthermore to facilitate replacement of damaged pole tops by new pole tops for ensuring reliable power supply during SANJY-2025, the shutdown of 33KV Mattan Pahalgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Salia, Hutmurrah, Sallar, Aishmuqam, Batkoot , GIS/ AIS Pahalgam shall remain off while power supply to Pahalgam, Batkoot, Aishmuqam, Seer, Sallar, Akad, Hutmurrah, Salia and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21, 23 & 25 June, 2025.

Additionally in a separate shutdown schedule issued by the Chief Engineer KPDCL, in order to facilitate chopping down of huge poplar tree at Aiwa Bridge near Water Pump Station, shutdown of 33 KV Wanganpora Takanwari line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Takanwari shall remain off while power supply to Sangam, Takenwari and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 21 June, 2025.
