JAMMU, FEBRUARY 04: The District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) for the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) Scheme met here today to review the proposals seeking loan for the establishment of income generating units across different sectors.
The meeting was chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Vidhu Shekhar and attended by Lead District Manager (LDM) SBI Jammu, Director RSETI, representatives from Jammu & Kashmir Bank, J&K Grameen Bank, District Industries Centre (DIC) and ITI, besides the applicants.
In all, 41 applications were placed before the DLTFC for consideration. After detailed scrutiny and discussion, 29 cases were approved, while 12 cases were rejected, deferred, or marked absent.
The Committee emphasized the importance of promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship under the JKREGP scheme.
The ADDC appreciated the coordinated efforts of the line departments and banking institutions for ensuring effective implementation of the scheme and timely disposal of cases.
