BHADARWAH, APRIL 11: Renovation work at Higher Secondary School Boys Bhadarwah, a prestigious heritage institution that has completed 100 years, officially commenced today.

The project, with an estimated cost of ₹ 3.6 crore, was inaugurated by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar Badyal, in the presence of Principal Dr. Kailash Chander, AEE Mushtaq Ahmad, JE Burhan Mangnoo, staff members, NCC cadets and a large number of students.

Under the ambitious project, the centrally located Principal’s office measuring approximately 40×20 feet shall be reconstructed. The renovation plan also includes roofing, ceiling upgrades, whitewashing, tile work and comprehensive repair and replacement of windows and doors across all school buildings spread over an area of 35 kanal.

Marking the formal beginning of the work, the ADC performed a traditional ceremony by breaking a coconut and laying two bricks as a symbolic start to the construction.

The event concluded on a celebratory note with the distribution of sweets among attendees, reflecting the joy and optimism surrounding the upgradation of this historic institution.
